HumanConcepts Launches OrgPlus 6.0.1; New Release Tests 508 Compliant

The new-feature-rich OrgPlus 6.0.1 can be leveraged by organizations to visualize, model and analyze organizational structures and critical employee information for strategic human capital management. Section 508 was enacted by Congress to eliminate barriers in information technology, to make available new opportunities for people with disabilities and to encourage development of technologies that will help achieve these goals. 508 compliancy requires that an application be entirely navigational through the use of the keyboard alone.

The My Charts folder nowcontains a library of 130 images that can be used to make your charts even moregraphical.
- Better Box Layout Options
OrgPlus now allows you toset the background color and border style for any cell within a box. Fieldlabels in boxes can now be placed anywhere in a box (above, below, left orright of the corresponding field). OrgPlus also allows you to create fixed sizeboxes and fixed size columns within boxes.
- More Flexible Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks cannow be attached to free-floating objects such as pictures, shapes andtextboxes.
- Improved ConditionalFormats
Box layouts can now becopied from a selected box, which makes defining complex conditional formatseasier. In addition, users can clear conditional formatting parameters on atab-by-tab basis within the box layout dialog.
- Innovative Sub-chart #AutoText Element
OrgPlus now allows you toeasily identify where a sub-chart fits into the overall hierarchy by using theSub-chart # AutoText elements. Each sub-chart is given a unique number (forexample, 1.1.2 or 1.3.1) which makes it easy to collate printed output.
- String Functions
OrgPlus nowsupports string functions that allow you to extract a sub-string from a field.
- Import Data Enhancements
OrgPlus now gives you morecontrol over rolling up records into multi-record boxes during import and datarefresh.
- OrgPlus ReaderOptimization
The Save As function now allowsyou to embed referenced pictures, remove original data source reference, striphidden fields and convert formulas to values.
- Broadened PublishingOptions
Publish toPowerPoint now supports inclusion of sub-chart arrows.
- Improved ConditionalFormats
OrgPlus 6.0.1 speeds upthe definition of conditional formats, groups, conditional formulas, reports,etc. by allowing you to select from an auto-populated list when performing any fieldcomparison.
- Enhanced Performance
OrgPlus has been optimizedto increase the speed of general operations including import, data refresh andpublish.
- OrgPlus Online Integration
The automation features ofOrgPlus and the new “Push Data” functionality now make it easy to push chartsto OrgPlus Online.
- Mapped Fields
Mapped fields now allowyou to map from one value to another value. For example, a user can include a USA flag in thebox of a USA-based employee.
